We are thrilled to announce that the much-needed renovation of our flat roof at the Churchdown Community Centre is set to begin this weekend! This is a significant milestone for us.

Our flat roof, which has been the source of numerous challenges due to water pooling and leaks, will finally undergo a comprehensive renovation. This project is critical to ensuring the safety and functionality of our beloved community centre. We will be starting with the removal of the old roof materials, repairing any underlying structural damage, and installing a new, high-quality, weather-resistant roof. Additionally, we’ll be implementing effective drainage solutions to prevent future issues.

Starting this renovation is a monumental step forward in our mission to continue serving our community effectively. From hosting community events and clubs to providing a safe space during the Covid-19 pandemic, our centre has been a cornerstone of our village’s well-being.
