ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

ELECTION OF TRUSTEES

Annual General Meeting

As soon as possible following the audit of accounts, the Trustees shall convene an Annual General Meeting of the Association, to which all individual members are invited to attend along with representatives from Groups that use the facilities. The Annual Report of the Trustees and other committees (where applicable) and the Annual Audited Statement of Accounts wll be presented for acceptance.

Please see attached notice for further information.

The Annual General Meeting will also:

a) Accept resignations from Trustees.
b) Elect new Trustees.
c) Accept the Annual Report of the Trustees and the Audited Accounts of the Association.
d) Appoint Auditors of the Association.
e) Amend the Constitution wherever necessary, in accordance with Clause 20, following the outcome of voting on any proposals.

Appointment of Trustees

No one is to be elected a Trustee at an AGM unless prior to the meeting, the CCA is given written notice that:
a) is signed by a member entitled to vote at the meeting.
b) states the member’s intention to propose the appointment of a person as a Trustee.
c) is signed by the person who is proposed to show his or her willingness to be appointed
To qualify for appointment as a Trustee the person must have been a member of the CCA for at least 12 months

Please remember that:

* To stand for election you must be a FULL member of the CCA
* To propose or second a nominee you must be a FULL member of the CCA
